The 2026 Wonju Mandu Festival takes place from October 23 to 25 around Wonjucheon Stream and the Munhwaui-geori (Culture Street) area in Wonju-si. Held under the slogan "Mandu, One Round of Fun at the Market!", this special autumn festival blends delicious mandu with the lively energy of a traditional market, along with varied performances and hands-on activities. There is plenty to enjoy, from the Global Mandu Zone, where you can try unusual mandu from around the world, to the Wonju Mandu Zone and exciting participatory programs such as fast mandu-making and mandu tower stacking. Congratulatory performances by popular singers, a live cooking show by Chef Jeong Ji-seon, the "Queen of Dim Sum", and the Nakhwa-nori (falling sparks play) at Wonjucheon Stream raise the excitement of the festival even higher. A tour program exploring various parts of the traditional market, culture and arts experiences, and a flea market will also be run. A tasty bite of mandu, a thrilling performance, and a heap of special memories! This autumn, come to Wonju with family, friends or your sweetheart and enjoy fun that is as packed full as a mandu.
